Lead Pastors – Russell & Jennifer Schroeder
Russell was born March 8, 1974 in Springfield, MO. He was raised in a broken non-Christian home but was able to do well in school and attend college and eventually earn an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies.(1998) He was born again and baptized in July of 1994 and filled with the Holy Ghost just a few weeks later. Russell has been an ordained minister and member in good standing with the Full Gospel Evangelistic Association since August 2001. Before moving to Foley, Russell & Jennifer served as Youth Pastors at LifePoint's parent church, Full Gospel Church in Anderson, MO. A position they held from February 1999 to May 2005.
Jennifer was born May 20, 1978 in Lakeland, Florida. She was born with a rare form of cancer and was not expected to live through the surgery to remove a grapefruit sized tumor from her abdomen. To this day she is a living testimony to the healing power of our Almighty God! Jennifer was born again and baptized in March of 1985 and filled with the Holy Ghost in October of 1995. She has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and is currently the director of LifePoint Christian Academy.
Russell and Jennifer were married August 9, 1997 in Anderson, MO. They enjoy camping, motorcycling, and spending family time at home. They are the proud parents of Aaron Gabriel ("Gabe") born August 27, 2003 in Joplin, MO. Gabe is their miracle child that doctors said they would not be able to have without the most powerful of fertility drugs. And even then they said it would be unlikely. Praise be to God for His goodness in answering the prayers of many on behalf of this family! Gabe was conceived without any medical intervention!
Russell and Jennifer firmly believe that the church is God's chosen way to communicate His love and mercy to the world. No other organization in 2000 years has withstood the persecution of the church and remained on the planet.
